OBJECTIVES
The proposed project concerns the design, growth and characterization of novel rare earth (RE) elements doped metal oxide-graphene nanostructured layers with tunable conductivity in a range of frequencies corresponding to 5G signals, suitable for the EMR shielding. The objectives of the project are:
(a) the determination of the composition and the synthesis procedure for the development of RE doped MO-G NCs nanomaterials presenting dielectric response below some frequency limit at the GHz range, while at higher frequency these will be conductive
(b) understanding of the mechanism leading to this functionality
(c) determination of the applicability of such materials and their optimization for each application.
